On 07.10.21 Sky announced the launch of Sky Glass, a project I had the opportunity to work on alongside an amazing and magical team. Here you can find some of the things those 2 years taught me.

​Over 10 weeks I worked with Tressly to create a platform that allows Black hair stylists to showcase their services through a customisable platform and for their customers to be able to access these services and book with ease.

What problem are you trying to solve?

• Most Black hair stylists are self-employed with their own client base.

• They have a location where they work, or they can be mobile - existing platforms are limited.

• “I can’t add my own logo or branding.”

• “I have over 25 different services and it’s hard to visualise them.”

• “The layout doesn’t support all my images and Ts&Cs.”

Working closely with 6 hairstylists, we will create:

• A customisable template for hairstylists to easily edit

• A data-informed, smooth booking experience for clients (improved UX)

Deliverables:

• A responsive and accessible data-driven design for a booking site (mobile, tablet and desktop using a mobile first approach - 70% of users access via mobile).
