I designed a hub to keep our consumers engaged after they buy or rent a property on our platform. Research showed engagement dropped sharply once a listing closed, so I focused the MVP on what owners value most: real-time property valuations and simple portfolio tracking.
Across shifting PMs, a new CPO and a fragmented design system, I delivered a clear, reusable product foundation in 4 months.
The result: a new “ownership journey” that drives retention, gives owners actionable insights and positions Property Finder as a long-term partner, not just a listing platform.

A few weeks into joining Property Finder as a Senior Product Designer, I was entrusted with leading design on a new, high-priority feature with a 3-month delivery timeline.
I partnered closely with product, engineering, UX research and illustration to deliver the experience end to end, from early concept through to launch.

At Property Finder, the owner journey effectively ended once a property was rented or sold. Owners had no centralised, data-driven way to track performance, price assets or manage properties, creating a clear gap in post-transaction engagement.
This led to a sharp drop in owner activity, with many users leaving the platform to manage properties elsewhere, reducing lifetime value and limiting Property Finder’s role as a long-term partner.
Delivery took place in a fast-moving environment with shifting product ownership and an evolving design system. I helped shape delivery strategy by aligning stakeholders around an MVP-first approach, enforcing a clear design process and reusing existing components to control scope. This enabled confident trade-offs and the delivery of a focused, high-impact solution within tight timelines.

On Android, we aligned with native Material 3 components and colours and adapted patterns where parity didn’t exist, such as rethinking the “My Properties” structure in the absence of folders. On iOS, the lack of semantic colour naming required careful token mapping to ensure consistent and accessible dark mode behaviour.
